The way your parents met. The lessons your grandmother carried through hard chapters. The values shaping who your children are becoming. These are the stories that hold a family together, and they deserve to be preserved with the same care you would give an inheritance.
Through The Heira Experience™, we sit with your family, listen closely, and create a guided documentary film that captures who you are right now, told in your own words.
You are not looking for a simple video or a quick photo session. You are looking for something that captures who your family truly is, told in your own words and rendered with real craftsmanship. You want your children and grandchildren to know the people who came before them, not through secondhand memory, but through voices, faces, and stories preserved while there is time to tell them well.
That is exactly what The Heira Experience™ was built to do.
A guided, documentary-style film that captures your family's voice, history, and story in a way that will endure for generations. Every film begins with a conversation, moves through the details that make your story yours, and becomes a gift your family will return to again and again.
You may be carrying a quiet feeling that there are things you want to know before the version of your parent who remembers them clearly is the version you have access to. That instinct is worth trusting. This is not about anything ending; it is about making sure a voice, a laugh, and a way of telling a story do not stay only in memory.
Zoe prepares the full experience: thoughtful questions built around your family, a comfortable setting, and a guided conversation that feels less like an interview and more like time well spent together. You receive a private legacy film your family will return to for generations.
This is a gift you commission for the people you love, not a milestone marking anything ending. A family tree tells your grandchildren your name, your dates, and where you fit. It cannot tell them your voice, your sense of humor, or what it actually felt like to know you.
Leave them more than a name in a family tree. Let your grandchildren hear your voice, know your laughter, and understand the life that led to theirs.
Every family enters this experience differently, so we offer six ways to begin. Some capture one person's own story. Others capture the relationship between the people who share it.
This is where most families begin. It is the simplest way to start telling your story, often nothing more than a guided, one to one conversation between you and Zoe. When someone is easing into recording for the first time, this is the path we recommend.
This family legacy video experience gives an adult child the chance to ask the questions they have been carrying, guided every step of the way. You do not need to be an experienced interviewer. You only need to care enough to ask. Zoe prepares the experience, guides the conversation, if needed, and creates a private legacy film your family will return to for generations.
If you are the parent or grandparent considering this for yourself: this is a gift you commission for the people you love, not a milestone marking anything ending. Leave your family more than a name in a family tree. Let them hear your voice, know your laughter, and understand the life that led to theirs.
Children change constantly, not only in height, but in the way they see the world. Their observations are honest, their imaginations are wide open, and their words often become the details a family wishes they could hear again exactly as they were first spoken.
Their Story, Told Young is a private, guided documentary interview created to preserve your child as they are in this season: curious, funny, thoughtful, and entirely themselves. Zoe can lead the conversation while you simply watch and listen, you can lead it yourself with guidance from Zoe, or the two of you can share it together. For younger children, the experience becomes a documentary portrait rather than a formal interview: conversation during play, baking, reading, or exploring a favorite place.
What was the bedtime routine you had growing up? Who makes the secret family recipe? Where does the family gather for celebrations?
Whether it is pancakes on Saturday mornings, visits to the ranch, or fishing on the lake, these are golden opportunities to record a Day in the Life Film, one that shows the most important people in your life exactly how much those moments mean.
When my children were younger, I read to them every night, a routine that continued until my oldest was fifteen. I do not have a single photo or video of those years together, and it is a memory I cherish deeply with no way to return to it except in my mind. That is the reason I created Day in the Life Films, so your family can hold onto the moments I was not able to keep.
Some stories land differently when a child is the one asking. Generations in Conversation brings a child together with a parent, grandparent, or cherished elder to preserve the stories, traditions, and wisdom that pass between them, whether that is a grandparent and grandchild, a great-grandparent and great-grandchild, or an aunt, uncle, or mentor and the child who loves them.
This is a guided conversation and documentary experience shaped around the relationship you already share, filmed over cooking, photo albums, a favorite hobby, or simply unhurried time together.
Legacy Conversation Recordings
Some of the most recognizable parts of a person are found in their voice alone. Legacy Conversation Recordings preserve that sound, the one only one person in your life carries, without ever stepping in front of a camera. This is the right choice for a family member who wants their story told but feels most comfortable being heard rather than seen.
The way they tease each other. The way they protect each other. The jokes no one outside the house understands. One day, it may be hard to remember who was always first to speak, who made everyone laugh, or what the afternoons sounded like together.
Together, As They Are is a family legacy film built for households with more than one child. Rather than separate interviews for each, the experience blends individual conversations, a shared sibling conversation, and time simply spent together, preserving the relationship between siblings and the beautifully imperfect rhythm of family life in this chapter.

At minimum, once in a lifetime. We strongly encourage beginning as early as age five and returning at major milestones: the birth of a child or grandchild, a significant anniversary, a business transition, or an upcoming retirement. Your story is still being written. Documenting it is not a one-time event.
Both. It is a gift to yourself to know your story has been kept, and it is one of the most meaningful things you can leave for the people you love.
One or two people per conversation is ideal. We can accommodate more, but we find that smaller groups allow for a richer, more personal recording.
