Before This Version of Childhood Becomes a Memory, Preserve Who They Are Today
Children change constantly, not only in height, but in the way they see the world. Their observations are honest, their imaginations are wide open, and their words often become the details a family wishes it could hear again exactly as they were first spoken.
Their Story, Told Young is a private, guided documentary interview created to preserve your child as they are in this season: curious, funny, thoughtful, and entirely themselves.
What This Family Legacy Film Captures
This experience is built around your child, not around a script. Depending on their age and personality, it may capture:
- Their voice, laugh, vocabulary, and mannerisms
- Their favorite things, worries, dreams, and sense of humor
- How they understand family, friendship, school, and the world
- Stories about a favorite toy, pet, book, or tradition
- A message to their future self, a sibling, or a parent
Who Leads the Conversation
Every child is different, so this experience is built around theirs:
By Zoe. Zoe gently leads the conversation, while you simply watch, listen, and be present.
By you. You prepare with prompts and filming guidance from Zoe, then lead the conversation yourself.
By both. Zoe guides the session while you join for selected questions, stories, or a closing message.
Some children open up more easily with a parent nearby. Others respond well to a caring, neutral adult who makes the moment feel special rather than like a test.
Built Around Your Child's Age and Personality
This experience is created for children who are ready to share their thoughts in their own words, often beginning around preschool or early elementary age, and adapted to each child's comfort, attention span, and personality.
For younger children, the experience becomes a documentary rather than a formal interview: conversation during play, a favorite activity, bedtime reading, baking, painting, or exploring a beloved place together.
How the Experience Works
Serving Families Across Dallas-Fort Worth
We film these family legacy videos throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, McKinney, and the surrounding North Texas communities, in your home, in our studio, or at a place your child loves.
This version of your child, this voice, this laugh, these exact words, will only exist for a little while longer. Preserve it while it is still exactly this.
Giving Back Through Legacy
To honor Kristina’s life and help others walking a similar path, "a portion of every portrait experience supports The Bridge Breast Network, a nonprofit that provides resources to underserved communities facing breast cancer.
Your session not only preserves your legacy, it helps support another person in preserving theirs.
