I  discovered my purpose after losing my sister, Kristina.

While Kristina was in hospice, she asked me to get the letters she had written for her daughter, meant for the milestones she would miss. When I opened them, my heart sank.  Every single letter was blank.  At that stage in her decline, she was too weak to write.

So I sat beside her, listening to the sound of the oxygen machine loudly filling the room, and recorded her voice as she spoke the words she wanted her daughter to hear. Those moments were raw and heartbreaking. They became her final messages.

After her Celebration of Life, I took the letters to my niece and explained that it wasn't my place to write them, but that I had recorded her Mama's wishes for her.  As we started to play the videos, their dog immediately recognized Kristina's voice and spun her head  around to see where she was.  It broke my niece and me.  We understood how powerful it was to hear Kristina's voice, not only for us, but also for their dog. 

That changed me forever.

I believed, like most people do, that there would be a later.

Stories went untold.

Her voice faded before I made time to preserve it.

But yours don't have to.

Kristina’s legacy is why I created The Heira Experience™. Every family I serve is another reminder that love deserves to be documented, remembered, and passed on.

We will walk you through cherished memories of your life, taking care to record the conversation with dignity and respect.  Then we will intertwine family photos and documents throughout and include background music to enhance the recording.
